With over 40 years of work experience, Kishore Rao has essayed diverse leadership roles. As CEO of Aequs Infra, a division of Aequs Group, he assists on various infrastructure development projects including the Koppal Toy Cluster. His responsibilities include the formulation of a strategic growth plan for 2025 and the execution of the same.

A career spanning over two decades, involving 3M Company USA, as the country head for India, Kishore had launched well-known brands like Scotchbrite and Post It for 3M. He also set up the Manufacturing, Engineering and Lab organization in India. As a part of the 3M Leadership team, he played an integral role in setting up operations in India and Sri Lanka.

Other notable achievements involved handling Asia Pacific Operations for QuEST Global Engineering Services, an Engineering Services company with 12,000 employees.

Kishore’s leadership strengths vary from Start-Up, Business Development, Strategy Planning and Operations Excellence across verticals, including Automotive, Telecom, Electrical, Consumer Markets and Engineering Services.

Kishore is a Mechanical Engineer from The University Visveswaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Leadership Coach with affiliation to the International Coaching Federation. He has represented his company at various forums such as the CII Innovation and Start-Up Initiatives.

 

VIKRAM ANNAPPA
Chief Operating Officer

 

Mr. Vikram Annappa is Executive Director, responsible for establishment, operations of Special Economic Zone and industrial estates business vertical at Aequs.

He joined Aequs group since from inception, works closely with the management, business establishments to develop integrated growth support and solutions across Aequs’ group.

Vikram brings over 18 years of experience in the town planning, real estate and industrial cluster development, His operations spanning conceptualization, commercial viability, supply chain, business development and maintenance & operational roles.

Vikram holds a master’s degree in structural engineering and PGC industrial building design and development from the University of Oklahoma-US and has worked in the U.S.

 

VIKASH BILOTIA
Chief Financial Officer

 

Vikash heads the finance function at Aequs Infra. He brings over two decades of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Finance, Taxation, Internal Audit, Fund Raising and Investment Analysis.

An effective communicator with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities, he has worked in leading Non-Banking Finance Companies and other equity research, software services, corporate and trust services firms.

He is a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and a qualified Chartered Accountant & Company Secretary.

 

KAUSHIK SARKAR
VP, Business Development

 

With close to 2 decades of work experience, Kaushik Sarkar is a purpose driven business leader with experience in value added products, solutions & consultative selling in a B2B industry through direct & distribution channels. As VP – Business Development of Aequs Infra, a division of Aequs Group, he drives various infrastructure development projects which include Belgaum SEZ, Koppal & Hubballi clusters and potential expansion opportunities outside these clusters. His responsibilities include the formulation of a 5-year strategic growth plan and the execution of the same.

A career spanning over two decades, involving Timken, as the enterprise sales head for their ABC brand, Kaushik has successfully turned around declining business, set up sustainable business processes, scaled teams et al. In his earlier role for automotive aftermarket in Timken, he had set up growth-oriented business processes, incentive schemes and able teams which helped to grow in India and expand in SL, Nepal & Bangladesh.

Kaushik is an Electrical & Electronics Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra & is an alumnus of prestigious IIM, Ahmedabad having successfully completed his 1-year Senior Management Program.
